Siva Chaturvedi
Founder & CEO

Siva has over 22 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries. Before starting damaka, Siva was a Partner at Prodea, a venture capital firm where he identified investment opportunities, sourced deals and performed due diligence of new ventures seeking early and mid-round financing. Prior to Prodea, Siva was a Director at telecom technologies inc., which was subsequently acquired by Sonus Networks where he continued to lead the professional services division. During his tenure at tti, he has worked with several large corporations like MCI, Qwest, Agilent Technologies, and British Telecom JV in various senior management capacities performing strategic planning and business development. Earlier to telecom technologies, Siva had performed senior technical roles at Ericsson in their data and voice switching platforms.

Siva has 34 issued and 53 pending patents in the area of voice and data networking. He holds a BS in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington and has done advanced coursework in Electrical Engineering at Southern Methodist University and has an MBA from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Satish Gundabathula
Co-Founder & CTO

Satish has over 17 years of experience in Telecommunications and Real-Time distributed Systems. Before starting damaka, Satish was a consultant at Verizon where he architected a system for interfacing into PBX, CTI systems and VoIP Platform. Prior to Verizon, Satish was part of the Class 5 SoftSwitch design and architecture team at telecom technologies inc., which was subsequently acquired by Sonus Networks where he continued to work on SIP. Earlier to telecom technologies, Satish was the lead architect for building NEC's next generation NMS Software for their ATM Switches. Prior to NEC, Satish was a lead architect at AVL, a leader in engine test instrumentation systems. At a very early stage in his career, Satish was an intern at Indian Space Research Organization, working on VDM (The Vienna Development Method).

Satish has 32 issued and 53 pending patents in the area of Peer-to-Peer and Voice Over IP. He holds a BTech in Computer Science Engineering from the University of Kerala, India and an MS in Computer Science from Wayne State University.

Rashmi Hiremath
SVP Engineering / Board Member

Rashmi has over 10 years of experience in telecom, networking and software development with emphasis on mobile software and multimedia codec development. She has been instrumental in developing multimedia stacks for Damaka's flagship product, Amadeo, a patented peer-to-peer SIP based unified communication and collaboration product. She directed the mobile development on multiple mobile platforms like iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Phone for all enterprise mobile software products in Damaka. Under her leadership, Damaka launched Xvio, the first product globally to extend room-based video conferencing endpoints to mobile devices.

Rashmi has 1 pending patent in the multimedia/networking field. She holds a BS in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Mysore University, India and an MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington.

Rajaraman Krishnan
Managing Director

Rajaram has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications and networking. Prior to joining damaka, Rajaram was Founder and Managing Director of Solnet Technologies, a consulting service specializing in telecom software development. He has provided telecom consulting services to several clients in the US including Fujitsu, Datameg and Allied Telysyn. Prior to Solnet, Rajaram worked for Fujitsu Network Communications, USA where he was a lead developer contributing to several of their products including terabit router and ATM switch.

Rajaram has 1 issued and 1 pending patent in the networking field. He holds a BTech in Computer Science Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras and an MS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Hector Terrazas
President & GM Latin America

Hector has over 15 years of experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries. Before joining damaka, Hector was the founder at Fonet Global, an Internet Telephony Service Provider where he managed the overall business from raising capital, definition of business strategies, design of the VoIP network and the CRM technologies to support the different business models, and development of market strategies. He was instrumental in turning the company into a pioneering and successful VoIP venture focused in Latin American market. Prior to Fonet, Hector was a Project Manager at MTS World, a technology consultant firm where he participated in various projects for Chemical and Petrochemical companies spanning over seven countries. These projects were related to process performance improvement for the Electrical and Instrumentation industry.

Hector holds a BS in Electronic and Communications Engineering from the Monterrey Institute of Technology in Mexico City and has done advanced coursework in Industrial Instrumentation, VoIP technologies and Marketing Strategies

Sundaram Sethu
SVP Engineering

Sundaram has over 20 years of experience in enterprise architecture and delivery of end to end enterprise custom solutions. Before joining Damaka, Sundaram was a VP of Enterprise Architecture and Director of Application Development managing the Application Development unit at CROSSMARK where he spearheaded the implementation of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), and architected a mobile platform for Nielsen to provide retail insights for major manufacturers. Prior to CROSSMARK, Sundaram was a Director of Software Development at BEST Systems where he led the architecture of various applications for clients in Retail, Real Estate, Health, Telecom, Travel, and Energy sectors. He was also responsible for implementing ISO 9001 standards for software development. Prior to BEST Systems, Sundaram was a Software Engineer at Power Computing where he designed many engineering applications for Electric Power Research Institute to aid Electrical Engineers design substations, and transmission & distribution networks.

Sundaram holds a BS in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Annamalai University, India and an MS in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at Arlington.
