Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) Technology
Damaka's solutions are SIP/XMPP compliant. SIP is a signaling protocol that includes internet conferencing, telephony, presence, events notification and instant messaging among other features. It is used to create, manage and terminate sessions in an IP-based network. As the go to choice for services related to Voice over IP (VoIP), it continues to grow and evolve.
Flexible and Efficient Weaving
Damaka allows hassle free connecting to different SIP servers, softswitches, and IP-PBXs. It is tested across different SIP servers available in the current market place.
Sweeping™ allows for seamless device handoff
Active sessions can be transferred between laptops, smartphones and tablets without dropping. Normally, if a user switches from one device to another by logging in on the new device, he/she will have to rejoin a meeting and recreate the meeting workspace. With Damaka's Sweeping™ technology, when a user switches devices, their meeting will be transferred to the new device in the same state as the previous device.
